Thrive Beyond the Game - Mental Strength for Life & Sport
Thrive Beyond the Game is a monthly life guidance class designed to equip young athletes with the mental and emotional skills needed to succeed both on and off the pitch. This class goes beyond football, focusing on internal growth, emotional resilience, psychological well-being, and personal development. Through interactive discussions, self-reflection exercises, and real-life case studies, participants will learn how to handle pressure, build confidence, develop a growth mindset, and set meaningful goals for their future. Whether facing challenges in competition, school, or personal life, this program will help them develop the inner power to thrive in every aspect of life.
As part of the Summit Football Institute program, all participants are required to complete 50 hours of community service before graduation. This initiative is designed to instill a sense of responsibility, leadership, and service beyond the game. Players will engage in meaningful projects such as coaching younger athletes, mentoring peers, volunteering at local schools or community centers, organizing football clinics for underserved youth, and participating in environmental or social impact initiatives. Through these experiences, athletes will develop a deeper understanding of teamwork, empathy, and the power of giving back—essential qualities for both football and life. Community service is not just a requirement; it is a fundamental part of developing well-rounded, socially responsible individuals who lead with integrity both on and off the pitch.
World Football Summit - Hong Kong 2025
On September 3rd & 4th, 2025,
Summit Football Institute will be attending the World Football Summit in Hong
Kong, one of the premier global gatherings for football industry leaders. This
event provides an invaluable opportunity for our players, staff, and partners
to engage with top professionals, gain insights into the evolving football
landscape, and explore new pathways, innovations and trends for development at
the highest levels of the game. By participating, we reinforce our commitment
to excellence, ensuring our athletes and organization remain at the forefront
of football innovation and education about the game of tomorrow.
In January 2027, Summit Football Institute will travel to Germany with Coach Scholtan for a football tour, competing against top German players and professional academies. This tour will immerse our athletes in Germany's renowned football culture, known for its tactical discipline, physical intensity, and world-class development systems. Through high-level matches and training experiences, our players will gain valuable exposure to European football standards, helping them develop the skills, mindset, and adaptability needed to succeed at the highest levels. This tour is a key part of our commitment to preparing athletes for elite competition and professional pathways.
In October 2026, Summit Football Institute will embark on a Japan Football Tour with Coach Kojima, providing our players with the opportunity to compete against top Japanese players and professional academies. This tour is designed to expose our athletes to Japan’s disciplined and highly technical style of play, enhancing their development through high-level competition.
Beyond the matches, players will experience Japan’s football culture, training methods, and professional environments, gaining valuable international experience. This tour aligns with our mission to prepare athletes for elite football by challenging them against some of the best youth talents in the world.

The Summit Football Institute is taking football development to the world stage with an exclusive 2026 World Cup excursion. This immersive experience will expose our players and staff to the highest level of football, allowing them to witness
world-class competition firsthand, understand elite performance standards, and
gain invaluable insights into the global football industry. By attending
matches, engaging in industry networking events, and analyzing top-tier
tactical and technical play, our athletes will deepen their understanding of
what it takes to reach the pinnacle of the sport. This once-in-a-lifetime

skilled on the field but also equipped with the knowledge and ambition to
succeed at the highest levels.
2026 Summer School Opportunity in Canada
During the 2026 World Cup in Canada, Summit Football Institute students will have the opportunity to attend a one-week summer school program at a Canadian high school. This experience allows students to earn academic credits, engage with local students, and experience Canada's education system firsthand. It's a valuable opportunity
for academic growth while being immersed in a new learning environment.

We provide bursaries to students who maintain a strong GPA, have active involvement in notable extracurricular activities, or have demonstrated financial need for academic support. Our program aims to recognize academic excellence, leadership in extracurriculars, and alleviate financial barriers.

At our online program, we understand the importance of personalized support in a digital learning environment. Our team of academic advisors and guidance counselors is dedicated to understanding each student's unique learning style and needs. Additionally, our Head of Education, takes a hands-on approach by leading scheduled class times on the TVO-ILC platform, providing direct support and guidance to students throughout their journey to success. Moreover, our program is recognized by the NCAA Eligibility Center (National College Athletic Association).
The Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) is a globally recognized qualification awarded to graduates by the Canadian province of Ontario. Accepted by prestigious universities worldwide, including in the USA, Canada, UK, Hong Kong, and Australia. As an official affiliate of TVO-ILC, SFI is able to facilitate students to achieve an OSSD high school diploma which offers a pathway to higher education with lower admission requirements compared to other diplomas.
The assessment system emphasizes a balanced approach, with 70% homework and 30% final exams, allowing students to showcase their abilities under the guidance of dedicated teachers. Flexibility is key, as students can choose their learning pace by selecting the number of credits per semester, with options for up to 5 credits alongside ESL courses. The OSSD also accepts credits from schools internationally, accommodating a maximum of 24 credits, facilitating a smooth transition for students from diverse backgrounds.
